The Miss Miami Scholarship Pageant is a rich part of Miss Florida Pageant history. In fact, in the early days of
the Miss Florida Pageant, Miss Miami claimed the crown for five consecutive Miss Floridas (1941-1945).
And since then all Miss Miami's continue to be a strong contender for the Miss Florida title as well as being a
significant part of the Miss America Family.
Recently, the Miss Suncoast title was added as a title offered at the Miss Miami Scholarship Pageant.
In 2009, Rachael Todd made pageant history as the first Miss Suncoast to ever capture the title of Miss Florida.
